INSTRUCTOR INFORMATION

Becoming an instructor requires possessing a certain personality in addition to the instruction program having a need for additional instructor personnel. For more information on how to certify to become an instructor, please contact our SDI. Contact information is on the Administrators page

Annual Instructor Clinic

Instructors are required to attend 5 hours of in-service training annually. To be a "Lead Instructor" requires successful completion of this clinic annually and passing the State Referee Examination test with a score of 85% or better.

Instructor Certification Requirements

Risk Management

All instructors are required to complete a background check once every 2 years.

Clinic Paperwork

Instructors are required to fill in the clinic forms and submit them to the SRA and SDI within 48 hours of the clinic. For Initial Entry Grade 8 Clinics, instructors are required to collect the clinic fee and submit a single check (made out to SYRA) with the total amount to the SRA. Instructors are to use the approved forms below:
